MATTHIEU CAMINADE

Pastry Chef

Matthieu recently joined our team after traveling around New Zealand. Matthieu brings a world of patisserie knowledge and has worked in France and Belgium after completing his degree as a pastry chef. Matthieu has created several new products for us, including a range of gluten-free cakes such as Madeleines and Financiers which are mind-blowing.

Matthieu works closely with Louis and is now in charge of our macarons production and developing a gluten-free range.

SYLVAIN FILLIOL

Managing Director, imports and distribution

Sylvain Filliol is a French Kiwi entrepreneur with over 15years experience in the food industry. Sylvain started Le Marché in Wellington importing the first wheels of raw cheese to New Zealand back in 2008, he has been successfully exporting various fresh and frozen foods from New Zealand to Europe, Asia and the Pacific Islands.

CAREERS

​We are looking for a dedicated individual to run our market stall on Saturdays (Newtown and Riverbanks) and Sundays (Victoria Street and Harbourside).

Possibly also for Kapiti and Wairarapa markets. You will need a car, some training, and most importantly a positive can-do attitude.
